Information clause

Pursuant to Art. 13 sec. 1 and 2 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27/04/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (general regulation on the protection of data) (Journal of Laws UE L 119, p. 1, correction of the Official Journal of the European Union L 119 No. 127, item 2) – hereinafter referred to as the GDPR – we would like to inform you that:

  1. The administrator of your data processed in during the registration and participation in the conference is the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn, ul. Tuwima 10, 10-748 Olsztyn, NIP 739-05-04-515, REGON 001289340, tel. +48 89 523 46 86, e-mail: instytut@pan.olsztyn.pl, as the Organizer.
  2. The administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer supervising the correct processing of personal data who can be contacted via the e-mail address i.zakrzewska-haluszka@pan.olsztyn.pl or by post/mail to the address of the administrator’s seat.
  3. Your personal data will be processed in regard of participation in the conference, in order to issue invoices and publish post-conference materials, prepare reports (k.lukasik@pan.olsztyn.pl, Karolina Łukasik, telephone number: 89 539 31 30), on the basis of consent (Article 6 point 1 letter a of the GDPR), which may be revoked at any time.
  4. The data may be transferred to entities supporting the Organizer in its activities, in particular to suppliers of external systems enabling the organization of the event, as well as state authorities or other entities authorized under the law in order to perform the obligations incumbent on the Organizer.
  5. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the Conference. The submission of the participant’s application during registration is considered to be a voluntary, specific, informed and unambiguous consent by the Participant to the processing of personal data.
  6. The period of processing your personal data will depend on the legal basis for their processing. The data will be processed for the period required by law or the period of limitation of claims.
  7. The conference will be held in hybrid mode. During the conference, personal data and the image of on-line participants will be visible to other participants. The participant has the right to inspect his/her personal data and obtain information, in particular in the scope of: the method of their processing and information about the recipients of the data; rectification and supplementation, deletion, request for temporary or permanent suspension, raising an objection towards processing, transfer of data and lodging a complaint to the supervisory body regarding the protection of personal data – in Poland to the Chairman of the Office for Personal Data Protection – and the right to withdraw the consent to processing at any time without impact on the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
