held in Cracow from 22nd – 25th June 2022 was a huge success. It was the 5th edition of our conference that was attended by eminent scientists from all over the world. This year the formula of our conference was unique. The conference was held in hybrid mode, which allowed to increase its reach. Researchers who could not be present in person took part remotely.
The meeting started with a preconference session in memory
of Prof. William Twink Allen. The start of each day of the conference was marked by outstanding plenary lectures by Prof. Martin Sheldon and Prof. Hans Nauwynck. The scientific program focused on the latest scientific and clinical developments and updates in reproductive biology and pathology in domestic animals. Notably, the lectures emphasized the impact of research on the understanding of the reproductive health of animals.
The researcher discussed the causes, diagnosis, and possible treatment of endometritis in cows and mares as well as the development of endometrosis in mares. Significant advances were made in our understanding of the role of innate immunity and epigenetics in the development of uterine inflammatory diseases and the identification of markers of uterine health.
Besides intensive scientific sessions, excursions and gala dinner was organized to provide participants with an informal platform for networking and to exchange views on challenges and opportunities in science and on different cultures over delicious Polish food.
The Conference was organized with support of IAR&FR PAS, MEiN “Doskonała Nauka” and PAN “DUN”.
