Endometritis as a cause of infertility in domestic animals
On the September 11-12 2017, the city of Olsztyn was the venue of the Conference entitled Endometritis as a cause of infertility in domestic animals. The Conference was organized by the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research in Olsztyn and the Faculty Veterinary Medicine, University of Warmia-Mazuria in Olsztyn under KNOW Project.
The Conference addressed issues currently representing the most significant trends in research devoted to the leading topic of endometritis as a cause of infertility in domestic animals. The aim of the Conference was to provide current knowledge about uterine biology and morphology, as well etiology and pathogenesis of endometritis, clinical and subclinical endometritis, new diagnostic methods and new treatment strategies. As before, also the impact of endometritis on reproductive health and animal productivity will be also discussed.
More than 90 participants from Poland, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Finland, Belgium, Ireland, UK, Israel, Egypt and Japan attended the Conferences. The Conference successfully got together the best research lines in the field, promoting a vivid scientific debate in the field of biology and pathology of uterus and allowing for the establishing professional partnerships and cooperation.

After the Conference, a PhD Summer School was held (September 12-15, 2017) where our lecturers additionally delivered lectures for PhD students of KNOW.
